Many times you want to start your journey from another station in the route of the passenger journey during the train trip.
Indian Railways allows this for their passengers. For this, you have to contact the Boarding Station station manager or computerized Reservation Center 24 hours before leaving the train. However, you will not get a refund of the stations between which you will not travel.
Once the boarding station is changed it does not get any chance of change. The passenger can not travel with the original boarding point and if you were found doing so, you will be considered without ticket and the penalty for traveling from the original boarding point to the boarding point changed.
If you have booked e-tickets, you can change your boarding station at least 24 hours before leaving the trade. However, for this you have to contact station manager.
The permission to change the boarding station is given only once. Boarding Point can not be changed for option option. Similarly, the boarding point can not be changed for the current booking ticket.
